GPS Bit
This antenna contains an optical beacon for manually reading satellite information.
Cross Shield
It defaults to closed in Save Mode to prevent self-destructive energy from flowing rapidly through the suit, and protects from outside impact. While Save Mode runs at about 60% power, Burst Mode concentrates all energy on the Ixa Arms to perform killing moves. Since Burst Mode significantly consumes energy, continuous operation for more than 30 minutes is very dangerous and overloads the internal computers. When the Shield opens, it creates heat and a blast of wind pressure.
Protection Window (Black Slit Section)
Three layers of 705UG reinforced glass, similar to the kind used in limos for transporting dignitaries, protect the eyes. Even a .50 caliber Magnum bullet shot from an automatic rifle at point blank range cannot scratch it. It is also a surface filter for the Hunting Glass lens, which can also operate when the Cross Shield is closed. It also protects the internal information devices.
Access Signal
When the lights flash, Ixa's internal computer accesses the hard drive.
Hunting Glass
Video from a super-wide field view of 180 degrees passing through the lens is transmitted directly to the wearer's terminal. Night vision allows information in zero visibility, X-ray scope penetrates a 5m thick iron plate. All footage can be recorded on the internal disk, similar to a digital camera.
Power Zone Filter
Purifies any toxins in the air to supply air to the wearer safely.
Mask Air Regulator
Tiny oxygen cylinders store about 360 minutes of air for use in water or in a vacuum, to extend working time in the absence of oxygen.
Ixamet
Information received by the suit using electrical circuits is transmitted directly to the wearer in its internal pad mount.
Delta Earth
A discharge device for excess high-voltage currents that flow through the suit is located on the shoulders, hips, and back, running it into the ground to reduce burden on the body.
Sol Mirror
This power unit is the cornerstone of the IXA system. A next-generation engine power drive increases accumulated energy by an astounding factor of several hundred using an internal black box IXA Engine, producing a power transcending human intellect. It has a heat-dissipating block to effectively cool the heat that is the byproduct of such tremendous energy. Horizontal and vertical indicators arranged in a cross represent the energy flow, red higher than green. The ideal energy allocation when running Ixa is for the centre line to be red, green on the left and right.
When the IXA Engine reaches maximum output by the wearer, an emblem of the Sun will emerge on the surface of the Mirror, indicated critical levels reached. However an expert like Nago can use this as a diversion technique. Intense particles of light generated by the core at critical are strong enough to turn a lesser Fangire to ashes with a single blow.
Sol Flasher
By concentrating energy here, a flash of 3 million candles can be a blinding stun grenade. Specifically designed for anti-Fangire combat, as Fangires cannot stand intense light which can lead to blindness. When running normally, yellow light indicates unusual or significant reduction of battery power, red signals intense conditions.
USM (Ultimate Servo Motor) System
Using a high power miniature motor comparable to a 5000cc class combustion engine, the USM transfers power up and down the arms through ultrathin fibers in the inner frame. The body's natural electrical signals are artificially strengthened tremendously. A similar system also crosses the legs.
Ixa Armour
Enhanced armour using a custom platinum superalloy with a hardness of 8.522, nearing diamond, that is not globally distributed. The alloy contains sterling silver, which Fangires are said to hate.
Hunting Gloves
The USM is embedded in the tips of the fingers, and a very thin inner frame in the wrist, resulting in a grip approximately 20-fold that of normal people. Electrical contacts in the palm connect it to the Ixa Knuckle.
Ixa Knuckle
This device contains a super AI transgenerator to form the Ixa suit. In 1986 there was only the basic configuration, but it received a significant software update in 2008. Its terminal controls each transformation, and it can be used as an electromagnetic knuckle by itself.
Black Armour Suit
The inner suit that protects the wearer is made of synthetic Carbo-Tech fibers, the strongest fabric. Theoretically, it can withstand 2000 degree heat and has a tear strength of 200t.
Emergency Battery
A reserve power pack for use when internal power supply is low. Power migration is automatic, and a new standby power supply can replace it. Continuous operation is about 12 hours, and extended supply 6 hours.
Power Knee Unit
USM is incorporated into artificial knee joints, creating superhuman leg strength. The large amount of required electrical energy is reduced by discharge into the ground by the Delta Earth.
Super Absorber
The ankles are wrapped in superimposed muscle fibers that bring tremendous leg strength. To reduce shock on the legs, feet, and ankles, air shock absorbers with compressed air are installed.
Rising Horn
The horns generate an anti-shockwave barrier that protects the Ixamet, limiting impact to the front of the head.
Mask Air Connector
The Izariser mounts onto it, and it contains electrical contacts for protecting the Rising System. A built-in function supplies constant fresh oxygen, and 360 minutes of air underwater and in the vacuum of space.
Open Armour (Rising)
By opening the armour, concentrated energy from the nearby Ixa Engine is dissipated.
IXA Engine
Resulting from refurbishment from the system's 11th and last update, the Engine can now perform normally without restraining by the Sol Mirror. Power is maximized by surplus heat dissipation, opening the Mirror to expose the internal Corona Core.
Corona Core
The central part of the Ixa Engine, sealed behind the Sol Mirror, feeds the body energy from the Sol Dynamo power generator in only 0.8 seconds. During high energy output, the Corona Core generates a large amount of light particles, the ones that shine through the emblem of the sun transmitted through the Sol Mirror.
USM ver. 2
The USM from Burst Mode has dramatically increased the strength of the body.
Rising Glove
Same as the original gloves, except the electrical contacts now connect the palm to the Ixariser.
Platinum Armour Suit
The inner rubber suit of synthetic Carb Tech rubber is now coated with platinum, a heat reflective material. Although the performance is still comparable to normal Ixa, the heat transferred to the wearer from the opened IXA Engine is blocked by the platinum.
Rising Armour
The surface of the Platinum Ixa armour is coated with a new cemented carbide material called Guardian Cobalt. Usually a transparent resin, Guardian Cobalt has a blue discolouration by electrical signals received from the IXA Engine. This strengthens the suit by a further 30%.
Ixa Knuckle ver. XI
Although no outward change is observable, each of the internal motherboards have been retrofitted. The violent rejection that was an issue since rollout in 1986 is now almost nil, and this version's is equal to the limit of physical activity without a suit, a very mature system.
Power Knee Unit ver. 2
With the USM's version up, significant increase in the knees' strength has also been made.
