Arthur did, he threw a punch up and then pulled a key from inside his coat.
"Screw this!" He yelled in English, placing the key in the driver and letting red energy surround his legs. "... Ah what did Takamina say it was ... Rider kick?"
He squeaked as the Makamou shot at him and threw both of his legs up hurriedly.
"Rider kick!" The Makamou screamed and exploded into a pile of leaves while Arthur just fell down and hit the floor, thrown backwards by the explosion.

Yukie ran to him, "Are you ok?" she asked with worry, looking back at where the Makamou was. As far as she knew, only pure sound could kill it.

True enough the Makamou had created an illusion and run off into the tree's.
Arthur groaned and looked up.
"... Ow." He muttered.

Arthur mumbled and sat up slowly, rubbing his right shoulder blade.
"Yeah, I should be alright," He said.

Peeking from the clearing above is a long-haired teenage girl in hiking gear and a short red scarf. Neither noisily nor noiselessly, she picks herself up, tucks the Mars Driver in her hand into her backpack, and walks at the direction of the Makamou.
So far, Rei was only able to track down the Dark Kingdom's activities through rumours and gossip. It is not ideal to be sure, as many turned out to be false while others had no connection to the Dark Kingdom. This current excursion is also a result of hearing rumours. Makamou indeed have an evil energy about them, but it is difficult to tell at this point if they are another one of her enemy's minions. Though even if it were not, her duty is to protect and she must attempt to destroy it.
As she trekked, she briefly wondered if the foreign man was another one of her comrades from the Silver Millenium. The idea is quickly discarded when she tries to focus on the vague memories and recall nothing. The Oni though, definitely not.
Again, Rei feels the Makamou's energy. She takes out the Mars Driver and attaches it to her waist, just as the feline monster breaks into a sprint towards her. Calmly, she inserts the Mars Switch and pushes the wings down. The Makamou pounces, howling and with claws out for her head, only to be deflected by the aura of fiery cosmic energy surounding her body.

"... You're a rider," Arthur noticed.
He moved the Cancel Key towards his belt and then looked around, hearing the Makamou scream and seeing a plume of fire out of the corner of his eye.
"What was that!?"

While the initial release of cosmic energy in her transformation repelled the Makamou adequately, Mars finds herself struggling afterwards when the monster leaps at her. She cannot dodge fast enough and is crushed under the monster's massive paw. The armour keeps her from feeling much pain but it is not strong enough for her to push her way out. She cannot even reach the Mars Switch to activate the Limit Break.
So she clenches her fists and rails on the paw with as much strength as she can muster. The Makamou squeals in reaction but it does not yet relent.

Amaki ran for the Makamou, lashing out a kick at its back, adding slashing wind to her leg, kicking the Makamou off of the newcomer.
"Another Kamen Rider?" she asked.

"Yes," she unmindfully answers the Oni, "they call me Kamen Rider Mars."
Climbing back to her feet, Mars makes a slow stride towards the Makamou. The Oni's wind attack has made it limp on one leg, and the foreign man's finisher has done noticeable damage to it. While she appreciates having help, it makes her feel uncomfortable to be near the Oni. She has to finish this quick, but she has to be cautious.
"Rin. Pyou. Tou. Sha. Kai. Jin. Retsu. Zai. Zen."
The ofuda in her hand stiffens.
"Akuyro taisen!"
With a flick of the wrist, the ofuda paper attaches to the forehead of the Makamou and renders it paralysed. As she has thought, it is too powerful to be dispersed with the spell.

Amaki quickly fired her trumpet, using Oni Stones and then affixing the mouthpiece, using her song to destroy the Makamou with quick ease, giving silent thanks to Mars for the stun.
