"I wonder if you're really an Oni," Mars sharply remarks at her. "I bet even a miko-san would be able to explain better than that. Maybe you should visit a shrine."
Even if she was not the one to have defeated the Makamou, her work here was done. She turns away from the group and leaps onto higher ground, and then wonders which direction she should take.

"I didn't know anything about the Oni until recently," she told the other woman before she left, her face becoming human, "I've only met one Oni who told me about what I was."

Arthur fumbled for the Cancel Key and turned it in his belt deactivating his armour after he ran behind the two women.
"Oni? What's an oni?" He inquired.

"What I am," she said, "Part human, part...part Makamou. The only thing that can kill a Makamou," she said.

"Right ..." Arthur nodded "... Okay yeah, no, that explains nothing. What's the ... what's all the orange stuff and the little face above your head ... and the gun trumpet!"

"The orange is my body. The face was...I don't know. The trumpet is my tool. The Oni us sound weaponry to fight Makamou," she answered.

Arthur paused.
"Your body?" He instinctively reached out and touched the woman's shoulder, as if it would suddenly appear again "I thought it was armour ..."

Mars was going to leave until she heard the Oni mentioned that only her kind can destroy Makamou. As someone in touch with the supernatural both in nature and in profession, she knew that there was a good reason why prayers for protection against Makamou are always directed at Oni. But to hear it explained so frankly, it makes her pause and wonder her enemy might one day exploit it.
Still, she did not know if she should sound her concerns to people she does not trust. Just as she is about to turn away again, she sees the foreigner casually lay his hand on the Oni. Mars then jumps back down, walks up to the foreigner, and pushes him to the ground with a hand. "I didn't hear you ask for her permission," she chides. "Just because you fancy it doesn't mean you touch a maiden just anyhow."

Yukie was very surprised by the other woman's actions. Her words made sense, actually. That was nice, were the context different.

"Um ... right ..." Arthur said "Sorry,"
That wasn't what he wanted to say. What he wanted to say was:
"I'm sorry but that's ridiculous! She could've told me to get off if she wanted to! And she's fully capable of beating me into the ground. She does not need "You" to defend her!" But he didn't know how so he just nodded in agreement.
