The second most used one, is only used when assuming his serious stance—pointing his sword outwards while gripped in his left hand, his shoulder slightly back compared to his right shoulder, his feet apart with his right one leading. As Shurikenger: Fire Mode, his basic stance is he rests his blade against his right shoulder as if similar to a gangster, his left hand grasping his sheath firmly.

Overview: Josuke is a man from the previous generation of Shinobi; a man who upholds ancient values as well as tradition. He cannot stand for the existence of those who are evil or those who violate the upholding of tradition. He possesses a strong code of honor and when confronted by an opponent with reason in them, he wouldn’t unfairly cut them down. If the life of another became endangered he would throw himself without hesitation into the way of harm in order to save them.

Josuke Hisakata, the only son of the Hisakata family, left orphaned by unfortunate circumstances. He was adopted into the Haji Mon Clan by its leader at the time, raised and trained from as early as the age of eight in order to become a promising young Shinobi. Josuke growing up alongside the man who would go on to serve as the future vice-leader of the Haji Mon Clan, Ryu Hayabuse, who served as not only his only friend but as another member of Josuke’s “family”. He would follow the rules of the Haji Mon Clan until he hit the age of eighteen, after spending ten years of training from his childhood the leader of the Haji Mon bestowed upon Josuke a ninja artifact that had been granted upon the Haji Mon Clan by a previous Emperor of Japan whom had praised the Haji Mon for their loyalty and dedication to the nation. The artifact, known as the Shurikenball, was a sign of the faith that the Leader had in Josuke as a Shinobi—since then Josuke would serve as the one closest to the Emperor of the time.
Josuke would spend some time, doing mission after mission given by the Emperor for the better of the nation. Josuke would eliminate anyone who opposed the omnipotent law he put forth, and threatened the tranquility of the nation. Seeing all the innocent lives taken day by day by the ones who had soaked themselves in the waters of evil, Josuke would develop a philosophy known as “Aku. Soku. Zan.” Which means to “Slay evil immediately”. He would grow dissatisfied after such a time of servitude to the Emperor, wanting to do more and prove further his talent. He would leave behind the World of Shadows as well as the Emperor, leaving open a spot that would later become inhabited by the future Blade of the Emperor; Yami no Yaiba.
Following then, Josuke would end up joining INTERPOL. Serving with the codename of; “Sky Ninja” he would go on to carry out missions as he had for the Emperor of Japan in the past. Delivering swift judgment upon those who violated the law and peace of the world, Josuke would refuse to stand for the unjust acts of others. Making few friends, he focused on cleaning out the trash of the world—desiring to fulfill his dream of making a world of the just hearted. Yet Josuke would find himself abandoning his present loyalties yet again, as he soon caught wind of the flames of rebellion that were beginning to burn in his homeland, thus Josuke begins to head back to Japan hoping to stop the dangers ahead and preventing another tragedy from occurring…

Shurikenger let out a yell, unsheathing his blade as he slashed deeply into a Mechanical Inhumanoid. The robot screeching as a gash was created upon its chest—scraps of metal and fluids spraying as it stepped back. He did not give the Mechanical Inhumanoid a chance to counter-attack, stepping back and grasping his sword firmly, he would jump into the air—landing himself upon the Inhumanoid’s shoulders. “It’s over.” He spoke simply as he swung his sword, decapitating the Mechanical Inhumanoid; its head flying afar from the scene as Shurikenger leapt from the collapsing robot.
He would look over his shoulder, scraping his blade along its sheath to clean it of its fluids as he sheathed it fully. The Mechanical Inhumanoid falling forward and exploding as he had finished sheathing it. Shurikenger would turn away from its remains, walking forward as he returned to his normal form as a simple man; the man slowly opened his eyes as he expressed a sigh. ’This was the third one I have encountered since I’ve returned…’ he thought to himself, Japan was in worst state then he had thought. There were many new enemies here, and the threat of rebellion seemed to be more real than he had imagined. The time to act was now, if he did not hurry and assist those still loyal to the nation—there would perhaps be no nation to pledge loyalty even to.

Fighting Style: The only difference in this form to his fighting style, is he swings his weapon a lot more brutally. Relying less on technique, using more force with his swings, he becomes something of a sloppy hitter and yet in this form only grows quicker and stronger—thus more dangerous.
