Overview: Daniel is a silent man, who seethes with rage like fire on the inside. No one is entirely certain what drove him to create the Pseudocracy, but they do know he will use it's power to the fullest extent he can to achieve his goals. He pretty much allows his brother free reign, since he gets results and fast. He has bigger fish to fry anyway, since he runs both a major weapons manufacturing company and the world's largest criminal organization at the same time.

History

Daniel was born to a fairly successful family, with a lawyer father and a poet mother. His father always wanted him to go into law, and attempted to groom him from an early age, but it didn't work. Daniel instead went to technology, taking apart his toy guns and making them even better. His father, recognizing his talent, sent Daniel off to a boarding school and went to work conceiving another son, who was named Joseph. Daniel was never around for his younger brother, and he partially blames this lack of presence for the dark path Joseph wound up taking. At the boarding school, Daniel was an outcast. He was made fun of and ostracized from every possible clique. He felt lonely, angry. So one day, he built a crossbow and shot one of his primary antagonizers, a football player by the name of Reggie, in the eye with a deck bolt. Reggie nearly died, and was never able to play football again. They never found out Daniel was the one who did it, as he immediately dismantled the crossbow and disposed of the parts in separate dumpsters.
Daniel focused on his school work and graduated a year early at 17, attending Bristol University. It was here he finally met Joseph for the first time, and learned that Joseph had turned into a bit of a... strange child. Meaning he saw Joseph take a strange sort of macabre joy as he burned a cat to death. Daniel went on with business as usual, until he met Jean, the girl of his dreams. They dated for a while, and got married once they both graduated. They lived together happily, and Joseph opened a startup he called Justifier Industries. He was the first to create a fully automated automatic turret, with a targeting system, camera and AI built in. The US Military gave him a contract, and he began selling advanced weaponry to the military, soon getting contracts with Britain, Sweden and France. His business boomed, and the future seemed bright. Until the incident. He has repressed the memory, and forgotten that Jean ever existed. But he became determined to change the world, into a place where nobody died and everyone was happy. This was his original intent for the Pseudocracy, but it was soon corrupted as he slid ever deeper into madness and psychopathy. He soon became determined to reshape the world in his image. He would be god and king.
He recruited Joseph to be his second-in-command, and Joseph had a veritable field day with his new salary. Daniel gave him the use of the armor he had developed to help further his goals: Victory Model 1, or V1. He advocated the production of Pseudocrats, and was the man who extended ties to the gangs of the world to gain the Pseudocracy's name as the largest criminal organization in the world. And it was Daniel who personally declared war on the Skyring Patrol.

"It's open." Daniel stated simply. The door opened and a younger man walked in. The Initiator gave him away as a Pseudocrat.
"Sir, I don't mean to be rude, but what exactly does Mr. Joseph do?" The man asked, nervously wringing his hands as Daniel stared at him. "I mean, it sounds like someone getting tortured, what with all the screaming coming from his area of the headquarters."
Daniel chuckled. "You'd be both surprised and disgusted to find out how true that statement is. Now go. Do something useful."
The man stood still for a moment, a look of shocked horror on his face.
Daniel pulled out a pistol and pointed it at the man's face. "I thought I told you to leave."
"Ah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah, sorry to disturb you sir." The man said as he hastily escorted himself out of the office. Joseph returned the handgun to it's holster, and closed his eyes for a moment as there was a flash of pain from the sudden movement. When that subsided, he returned to his book.

Overview: Joseph is not a forgiving man. He is a sadist and a psychopath, and is willing to go to any lengths necessary to achieve his goals. He gets a sick thrill out of torturing people, especially pretty women. Some say he even gets off on it. Daniel doesn't fully approve of his brother's methods, but he gets results and he seems to enjoy it, so he lets him do it.

• His nightstick, a foot and a half long telescoping rod with a glass breaker mounted on the pommel.
  
• Various tools for inflicting pain, from whips to skewers to hooks to stuff too fucked up to mention in good company. This includes his nightstick, though he also uses that for regular combat.

History

Joseph was conceived as a "replacement child" for the "failure" that was Daniel. His only purpose was to go into law just like his dad. However, he could not have gone farther. When he was 6, he found a dying cat on the side of the road. Someone had shot it, and it had a gaping hole in it's side. Joseph poked the hole with a stick, and the cat yowled in pain. Joseph did it over and over, until the cat finally died. Joseph became fascinated with pain, and began inflicting it on both himself and others. When he was 8, he found a stray cat and burned it to death with a glowing stick while his older brother Daniel watched in stunned horror. And it only went downhill from there. Joseph continued to torture whatever he could get his hands on, and finally made his way up to humans when he was 17. He kidnapped a prostitute, tied her to a bed and gagged her, then experimented with all sorts of stuff, from dripping hot wax on her body to whipping her to shallow lacerations. After a 10-hour ordeal, the prostitute died, and Joseph disposed of her body in a dumpster. He got rid of as much evidence as he could, which was quite a bit. They charged some other poor sap and he got the death penalty. Joseph watched the whole trial, smiling inwardly when the innocent man was sentenced to death.
In college, he did this more and more often, kidnapping other students and teachers who annoyed him, torturing them to death in horrific ways, then disposing of the bodies in such a way that no one would find him. The university he was attending actually closed down to investigate the deaths. They never drew a link to him, due to how meticulous Joseph had been. The 18 murders he committed while there are still unsolved to this day, and they are known as the work of the London Torturer. Joseph practically jumped with glee when he learned that he had inspired an urban legend. He continued his work, claiming upward of 20 more victims before he graduated, 3 years since the killings that first inspired the legend of the London Torturer.
When he graduated, Daniel recruited him into the Pseudocracy, promising good pay. Joseph had a field day, buying whips, straps, chains, candles, and other various instruments of torture, including his nightstick. Daniel gave him the use of the V1 armor, and Joseph in return served as Daniel's ambassador, taking offers of friendship to gang leaders and crime bosses worldwide. If they didn't comply, Joseph sent them a video of him working his art on their wives. That usually did the trick. Joseph willingly put himself on the front lines of the war, willing to inflict pain and death in the name of the Pseudocracy.
