The smouldering remains of the small Chinese village laid before him as the small detachment of soldiers began their walk back to their trucks which would take them back home. None of them showed any emotions if they were thinking of what they did, men who served under Shen quickly learned not to show any emotion after what they did, Liu himself was smiling at the destruction before him.
It had been quick and bloody, a true show for him, he loved how the villagers tried to run away only to be gunned down by the soldiers protecting the escape points. It had made it so much more fun in the end as he had to personally shoot one of the villagers since he was running towards him.
He wondered when he would be able to cause true destruction, invading a capital city or a country that would be a spectacular sight to behold, he sighed as he had not been called by CIPHRA to do anything for them. He had accepted their offer because he thought he would get a lot of missions involving destroying things, but so far they had been silent, he was starting to get bored as he growled and took out a cigar and began to smoke it.

"Growing bored, are we..?" The voice of a man rang out, suddenly Liu Shen would discover that he was being personally visited by one of his superiors. A young, sharply dressed man of about late 30's--the same age as Liu Shen himself. Accompanying the man were three young Japanese men, each of them in different colored suits--one gray, one red, and one blue. The man whom had spoken raised a hand to take his shades off slowly as he chuckled, "It's been a long time Liu Shen, I see you keep yourself yet amused." He seemed to tease.
"I wouldn't question how I got here or the reason for it, simply know that..." he pulled out a black envelope bearing a seal of CIPHRA upon it, the custom design of the envelope usually delivered to Agents of CIPHRA to task them with new operations. The man possesses a mall grin as his eyes seemed to show nothing but delight, perhaps for the destruction to occur in the near future. "...you finally have a major assignment. I was tasked by our leader to take this to you myself, feel honored, Liu."

Liu looked casually at Jedan as he nodded and saluted him, "Ni hao Jedan," he said as he chuckled, "I crave destruction as much as a drug user craves his drugs...it's one of my vices, but thanks to your help I've been able to curb it somewhat," he said. "No of course not," Liu agreed as it was best not to question how CIPHRA was able to do all of those things that they did as he saw the black envelope and his eyes widened, "oh? I see," he said as he took the envelope and put it in a safe place, "what is the assignment?" he asked.

Jedan's grin became a warm smile--one that stretched ear to ear--as he seemed simply delighted to explain Liu Shen's operation. "We have begun our newest Operation in Japan, to tear the nation apart from the inside out. Much like how a bullet enters from the spine and exits through the chest--leaving a gaping hole of a wound." Jedan chuckled, "We want you to instigate the World of Shadows--the primary force that stands in preservation of the Japanese Government's Emperor--into action by assaulting local compounds."
"In other words: Stir mass destruction in the middle of Japan. Catch and then destroy the eye of the public. Do that, and you shall surely lure our the heart of it all--in which then you may strike."

Liu thought about this as he slowly nodded, "I see, I've heard information about them, assassins of Japan. However there is a small problem: I'm not sure how you plan to do this, but a well known Chinese army officer can't just simply waltz into Japan and cause destruction all over the place however much I like to do it. It would cause an international incident, nor could I even begin to justify why the Chinese military is attacking Japan," he said.

"True, that's why, you'll probably have to do this on your own." Jedan chuckled sinisterly, not seeming to really care about international incidents or what not. "You're very capable as a Rider are you not? You should make use of that--even if you must serve as a one-man army."

"Hmph, I don't mind working alone," Liu said, "it would make things much easier actually to work without my men. I do things my own way, but sometimes it's hard to tell them what I want done. There are no other Riders that are stronger then me, I guarantee you that," Liu reassured Jedan.

Jedan chuckled, admiring Liu's confidence in himself as well as his amusement towards the assignment. "Well it is the best course to follow--seeing as how it would be impossible to bring a unit of men from the Chinese Military to suddenly lay waste to parts of Japan." Jedan simply smiled, "Yet--if only one went, such as yourself, and acted anonymously it would be possible to obscure where you come from as long as we leave behind our calling card." Jedan reminded.
"Regardless, I look forward to hearing of the results of your mission."

Liu was always confident in himself, he had risen to where he was now because of his confidence and the fact that he trusted no one with every detail of his plan, not even his own subordinates he trusted greatly. "Of course, it would be an honor to lay waste to all of Japan, I can't wait to destroy everything in my path," as he chuckled and turned to walk away when he had an afterthought, "how will I contact you once I've done what I'm supposed to do?" he asked.

"I've slipped the means to contact me within the envelope I gave you. I don't take the same measures to obscure my identity as a Leader of CIPHRA as others do. So I will permit you to contact me through cellular phone." Jedan explained with a chuckle, he tucked one hand into the pocket of his suit jacket as he slowly turned. "Godspeed, Liu Shen, lay waste as you see fit."

"She she," Liu said as he smirked, it was going to be a fun holiday in Japan as he had many ideas on how to cause as much destruction as possible...perhaps he would contact a few of his black market arms dealers to buy some explosives.
