Kafer's metamorphosis destroys a majority of the Grimms in a flash of light. Only the Big Bad Wolf Grimm and three Little Pig Grimms are left (one made of wood, one made of straw, one made of brick). The pigs were out of Kafer's transformation radius, but the Big Bad Wolf Grimm, who was pretty close to Kafer at the time, was still alive - only a tad bit burnt. He then slashes at Kafer.

The Straw and Wood Pigs were torn apart instantly, but the Brick Pig managed to jump out of the way. It strolled over to the fallen Big Bad Wolf Grimm and devoured it whole (somehow doing it without a mouth), transforming it into the Steel Pig Grimm.
