In one swift move, he pulled Koyomi behind him and flashed his Morphin Brace.
"Whatever it is," he stood resolute, "I will protect you."

It was a Beast Dopant, causing damage in its wake, lashing out at anything with seemingly no target in mind in the least, just causing destruction. |

Hikaru twisted the dial on his brace causing glasses to deploy and for a blue aura to start circling around his body in the form of code, forming his armor.
IT'S MORPHIN TIME
He lifted the glasses to the front of his eyes causing his helmet to appear and for the glasses to form the eyes of the helmet.
When it was all done, he clutched his fist before doing a fancy (yet completely unnecessary) pose.
"Blue Buster, ready to deploy."

The Beast Dopant saw a threat and focused on it, charging for Hikaru.
Koyomi didn't say a single word. She just ran to get out of the way.
