Ryoga rummaged through his pockets until he found what he was looking for. He pulled out the Absorb Ring, the first ring he was instructed to create. He looked down at it and curled his hand around it before punching the ground and nodding. He slowly got up and looked around, as if looking for something to absorb.

The mage had departed, vanishing with a small burst of magic.

Ryoga adjusted his hat and driver and placed his Absorb Ring on his finger before running outside in search of anything he could absorb.
