When the light faded, Jack dropped his arm, his vision slowly clearing up. The Precious was gone.

"I wonder if this Precious was..." His eyes glew a faint green, he only observed Jack, "...if so then the only way for me to reclaim the Precious is to kill you."

The Golden Knight said nothing more, merely rushing for Jack, pulling a hand back as he tried to punch Jack in the face.

Jack drew his arm up to block the punch, but it hurt like hell on contact.

He took the hit and was thrown to the ground, smashing his head into the stone.

The Golden Knight proceeded to walk towards Jack, standing over him, "I will be taking the Precious back now." His green eyes began to glow red as he displayed a most sadistic aura.

The Golden Knight stepped back, avoiding the kick but now put at further distance from Jack. This would give him enough time to recover from being knocked over, which would postpone his attacker's attempt to extract the Precious only more. "Damnit..." The Golden Knight continued to display hostility as he stared Jack down.

Jack looked to the exit, backing away towards it.

"You will not..." The Golden Knight stepped forward, proceeding to dash for Jack as he pondered making his escape through the exit. "...escape with the Precious!" He yelled, skidding to a stop but as he did he lifted his left leg and swung for Jack.

Jack took the kick and hit the ground hard. He rolled away and ran for the Knight.
