Deacon was wandering London with Cath, not really having any sort of aim. They were both having an off-day, and they really had nothing better to do.

Hanz sat at a nearby outdoor cafe, typing away as usual on his laptop. This time, he was writing a short story that had already been sold, titled "The Three With No Name." It was obvious that he was getting irritated while writing this tale, the imprint on his palm kept glowing and Plasma Balls kept popping in and out of existence, but Hanz continued regardless.

"Plasma Balls. Hanz is nearby." Cath remarked. "Right there." Deacon said, pointing the young man out. "Let's say hello."

Hanz let out a grunt of irritation, deleting a chunk of the story he wasn't satisfied with and completely retyping it. "Need it to make sense... $5000..." he whispered to himself as he typed, Photon Balls appearing and dissipating around him, barely taking complete form before disappearing into the light. Finally he let out an angry roar and stood up in order to stretch, his eyes shut as he did arm exercises.

"A little frustrated?" Deacon asked, walking up with a coffee in his hand. Cath also had a drink, and the two sat down at his table.

Hanz sat down again, looking at Deacon and Catherine. "If it isn't the lucky two, not having to worry about making words match..." he murmured, his voice seething in rage. He sighed and calmed down, looking at the incomplete work on his laptop. "You'd think making a short story would be easier than, I dunno, writing five books in three months..." he said. "You'd be wrong."

"I may not have to make words match, but I make fabrics match instead. It's no easier." Deacon said. "Keeping a fashion line successful is tough business."

"Sounds like fun, wanna switch places?" Hanz joked, sighing as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. "So, what brings you two here? Orders from the League?"

"How about having nothing better to do?" Cath replied. "As good a reason as any." Deacon said.

"Wanna write up this short story, then? I feel like getting some food. You guys hungry?" Hanz asked as he motioned over a waiter.

"I could eat." Deacon said. Cath nodded in agreement.

"Get us a sample platter," Hanz ordered the waiter. He turned back to Deacon and Cath. "I've heard that we're going to start moving in order to find The One," Hanz mentioned, putting his computer into Sleep Mode and closing it.

"The One?" Deacon asked.

"The one who can summon the king of all demons," Hanz reminded him. "There's rumors circulating that it's someone who's already in the League. It could just as well be someone who's hiding themselves. Make no mistake, I'm almost entirely sure that if the Counsel finds who it is, they'll be turned into a living weapon."

"So, is this a race against the League to try and keep them from gaining access to this guy?"
