Kakeru's eyes switched back to red, and he sighed. "Long story. Let's just say I'm not exactly human either."

"I'm a human," she told him, "I don't know what you're talking about..."
She was being honest in that regard.

Kakeru sighed, mentally telling Atalm and Azo to shut it. "Well, my apologies. I seem to have been mistaken." He sighed once more, becuse going to walk away, and pressing a button on his phone, activating one of his Wolf Candroids, setting it to keep an eye on the woman.

"Ok...," she said, not sure what all of that was about. She walked on, heading home.

It wasn't long before the Candroid came in handy. A few minutes after Kakeru parted from her, another Parassita, this one much larger, appeared, snarling, it's bestial shape showing it to be a powerful Stage 1 Macchina, almost a Stage 2. Staring down McKenzie, it roared out, the various gears and cogs of it's body meshing and grinding loudly.

The coins came to mind immediately, but she wasn't entirely sure how to use them. She opted to run while grabbing the coins, hoping to use them.

A loud howling, followed by a small army of Wolf Candroids charging towards the Parassita, Kakeru following shortly behind. He'd already formed the Shifter around his waist, but held off on choosing cards until he saw what he was up against.

McKenzie got up behind a wall to stay hidden and relatively safe while she tried to figure out the coins. But, if someone was here to fight, then it shouldn't be a problem, she figured.

Finally reaching the Parassita, Kakeru sighed. It was a heavy quadruped type, slow but durable. It looked fairly fireproof and waterproof, so he'd have to make use of Zebra's lightning. He figured Pegasus would be a good choice for getting a vantage point, with Serpent arms and Wolf head. Pulling out the four cards, he grinned, and said his little catchphrase. "Place your bets~ Hensh~in!" He slotted the cards and opened the Shifter, transforming into Gamble.

She watched him, "That man again?" she said quietly to herself.

Kakeru jumped, flapping his wings to gain altitude, and flying around the Macchina, looking to find a weak spot whilst keeping it's attention occupied.

She let go of her coins, not bothering to think about getting involved.

Seeing a thin point of the armor, Kakeru dived in, crashing into the mechanical beast with an electrified kick. With a bellowing roar, the Macchina thrashed about, slamming into Kakeru and sending him flying into the wall that McKenzie was hiding behind.

She went around it, crouching by Kakeru, "Are you ok?" she asked him.

Kakeru coughed a little, having had the wind knocked out of him. "Y-yeah, maybe a bit of bruising...or a broken rib. Can't tell yet."
