A Day In Japan [Open]

[Takeo/ZO]

The Fangires head flew clean off of its body, shattering in midair. As the body fell to the ground, it shattered upon collision. Takeo returned to human form afterward and tried to catch his breath, tired from the fight.

[Edgar Bookston]

Edgar tossed the chainsaw swords into the air as they dissipated away. Turning to Takeo, he stuck his hand out for a shake. "Good job. And, I suppose, you've got questions."

[Takeo/ZO]

Takeo was confused by the gesture since he hadn't seen it before today, and ignored it, thinking that it meant nothing. "Yeah, I do. How do you know what I am and how were you able to use those kinds of abilities?"

[Edgar Bookston]

Edgar slowly pulled his hand back and sighed. "I once found myself in a lab. I saw you in the near completion stages in your test tube, that's why I recognized your face. I heard some of the lab techs talking, too, so I just put two and two together. Mind you, that's all I know, and it isn't much. As for my abilities... Well, that's a secret~" he hinted, chuckling.

[Takeo/ZO]

"You were in the lab? How? Very few people besides the lab techs have access."

[Edgar Bookston]

"Er... Unfortunate circumstances brought me there..." Edgar said in an almost embarrassed way. He had died choking on a sandwich that time, a memory he refused to acknowledge. "In any case, I suppose we should make sure everyone's safe."

[Takeo/ZO]

Takeo became suspicious when Edgar gave his answer, questioning his current motives. Takeo then nodded in agreement and turned towards where Hitomi escorted the children, seeing that she had just returned. "Where are the kids?" "Their parents came and picked them up. They were a little shaken, but they'll be alright." "What about the Fangires first victim?" "He's alright. You got him out of the way before that thing could do any permanent damage."

[Edgar Bookston]

"Good, good. All's well that ends well," Edgar said as he turned around. "Now, my knowledge of Fangires is limited. Do they happen to travel in packs?" he asked.

[Takeo/ZO]

"Some of them do, some of them don't. But they aren't normally seen in this part of the city. They prefer to hunt disguised as humans in the rest of the city, around the buildings."

[Edgar Bookston]

"We can't be too careful, then. Let's get everyone here to go home, it's clearly not safe," Edgar said as he looked Takeo in the eye. "You seem to be a good man, by the way. Glad to see you're okay at the very least. Or, y'know, not evil."

[Takeo/ZO]

"How are we supposed to get everyone in the park to leave?"

[Edgar Bookston]

"Remind them that they just got attacked by a damned Fangire. We'll need to split up to make sure everyone gets home safely, because I doubt everyone here lives in the same place. If a Fangire attacks again, quickly dispatch it, minimize casualties," Edgar planned out, looking for vantage points. "It should take us about thirty minutes or up to an hour to finish up here, depending on where everyone lives. If they came here in a car, get them to their car and then run back to help anyone who has to walk."

[Takeo/ZO]

"Alright, I'll take the south side. Hitomi, you take the east side." Takeo looked towards Edgar, saying "You alright with taking the north and west?"

[Edgar Bookston]

Edgar nodded. "I got it. Let's just make sure everyone's safe at the end of this." With that, he took off to get a group of pedestrians to follow him.

[Takeo/ZO]

Takeo walked off towards the south side of the park, convincing a few people to follow him to safety. Hitomi walked towards the east side of the park, and was able to get a small crowd of people to follow her.
