Sarah accepted the glass as she sat down on one of the chairs. "Well, I guess I'll start. About a couple months ago, I got these gloves from a sender unknown. And since then, I've been trying to find out who or what sent them to me and why. In fact, I've been wanting to leave San Fran and see if I could find any other Riders. Of course, I run into you guys, so that's one check off the list at least." She explained. "You wouldn't happen to have any ideas or theories, do you?"

"Hmm...Riders who got their powers through mysterious gifts? Can't say that I do...I mean there are lots of Riders in the world and not just Riders but Sentais and other heroes as well, you're not alone though everyone has a different agenda as to why they fight. However I can't help you in finding out who sent you that glove," Clive replied.

"Figures, didn't hurt to ask though" She said, pausing for a sip of juice. "I guess what I'm really trying to learn, is what it really means to be a Rider. I mean, I get the gist of it, to protect those who can't protect themselves. But there's so much I don't know about them, where the others gather, who opposes them, and why. Whether I was chosen for a reason, or these gloves just happened to come by accident, I feel I won't understand until I learn more."

"Ok well...as I said each Rider is different. Let's take me and Luna for example, we're more or less wanderers who do the whole 'go into town and clear out the monsters before leaving' routine, we don't have a fixed organization we work with though there are other Riders who do work for an organization for either good or ill. Another thing you'll learn is that not all Riders are your Prince Charming, some are really evil and are as bad as Kaijins, which are monsters by the way, and there's no place where they gather...we're...well perhaps loners is the correct word," Clive explained in as much detail as he could, "well tell you what...how about you join us?" as Luna nearly fell out of her bed.
"Master!" she exclaimed.
"What? She needs help and she's just gonna get lost and twirled around if she keeps on going it alone, better she stick with us then with some other random fellow," Clive argued.

Sarah thought pretty hard about this. She was actually going to ask them if she could accompany them as well, though it seemed Luna objected to the prospect. Understandable considering she and Luna had barely even met. And Sarah had to admit, this was a pretty big step she was about to take, more or less venturing out into the unknown, with no guarantee she would return home alive. Still, as Clive said, her chances of surviving in the wilderness would likely be better with a companion rather than going forth blind as she was going to before. Not to mention, he could likely teach a thing or two about how to fight properly...And she had to admit, he looked pretty nice. "Sure, why not?" Sarah said, smiling warmly. It was then her phone began ringing, the smiled turned into a frown. She had a good idea who was calling. "Sam, are you alright?" She said, speaking to the phone. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN I'M ALRIGHT?!" Sam shouted on the other line "Just what the hell you were doing staying there with that thing?!" Sarah sighed, she did plan to tell her about everything when this was over. "Sam, just where are you at right now?" "I'm near the Black Flag, the police are everywhere...I guess someone managed to kill that...Sarah what are you not telling me here" "Sam, get back to the apartment, I'll be there soon, promise, I'll explain everything." Sarah said before turning the phone off. "Well, now I need to convince my roommate not to kick me out for the night" She said to Clive and Luna. "Don't worry, you guys can trust Sam." |

"Do you want me to accompany you? I could probably answer any question that Sam might have for me if you are intending to accompany us," Clive offered while Luna seemed a little annoyed at it, but took it well as she went back to her laptop.

And with that she left, tomorrow, the unknown awaited.
