"You didn't have to punch him," Marilen told Kiriha, sitting up higher than him on a ledge of a wall at the park. Kiriha leaned against the wall, not paying much attention to her.
"I did," he commented, the first thing he had said in a while.
A ghost of a smile graced Marilen's face, "Well, I'm surprised. I thought you didn't like her."
Kiriha ignored her and pushed off the wall, starting to walk away, "I have to stop spending my lunches with you."
She jumped off the wall and followed him, "You'd be bored without me," she told him.
He sighed.

Ahead, smoke appeared around a specific area, but no where else, rolling across the park away from them as flashes of light flickered up and down inside the cloud of smoke. A fight was going on.

The two looked at each other when they saw that. Marilen threw her hand up, feeling out, "I don't know," she said.

The smoke was dispelled showing twin figures....one was blue, the other red. They both looked like a regal yet alluring stained navy blue glass form, with ornate gauntlets, and various natural vents all over the body. The chest was prominently featured, with fitting curve armor that also hid a pair of daggers that could be lit and thrown. Twin pairs of pyre-blades clashed against each other, one red, one blue...and both figures were feminine.

"I don't know either," Kiriha said, seeing them.
Marilen threw her hand out, "I'll figure out which one is good, if either."

Twin double-scythes came out, blade dancing against blade, neither one getting an edge. Then they were tossed aside, going up and into twin kicks...one impacting on the other and sending them flying....the red figure leaving in a gaze of smoke, while the blue figure fell on her back, her blades extinguished.

Marilen approached the downed one, "Well, that's interesting."
Kiriha followed, "What is it?"

The blue figure looked up to see Marilen and Kiriha, panicing a little...but unable to move much.

"Natsumi," Marilen greeted.

The blue figure sighed, gentle blue fire erupting over her as she reverted back to her human form. Her jacket was open and her shirt was torn over the stomach area, revealing a small wound that looked like it had been scorched, already healing from the blue fire. "Hi." she deadpanned, not much more to say.

"Why do our paths keep crossing?" Kiriha questioned her.

Natsumi slowly got to her feet. "That's a very good question, Kiriha. I'd like to know the answer to that myself."

"I can wager a guess, Kiri-kun," Marilen smiled, only saying that to throw the name out there.
Kiriha ignored her and walked past Natsumi.

"You're a very rude person." Natsumi said. "Do as you want." she added, walking away from him.
