She opened her flat and walked off to the side, putting the ring away.

She walked back out, still wearing everything she had worn, even the jacket while inside. She pulled the canvas out and found the painting, setting it back up and getting her brushes out.

He was surprised that she hadn't changed, but it didn't really matter. He didn't feel like turning her in, so he wasn't.
