Ahim was sleeping next to Joe. She had fallen to sleep the previous day next to him, and was still sleeping now.

Joe was sleeping as well...and showed little sign of waking. He subconsciously treasured this moment next to Ahim, since he'd been gone for so long, and did not wish to wake....though one arm of his had been subconsciously draped over Ahim's lower back, near her waist...holding her close.

She slowly woke up and looked at Joe, smiling. He was still here. This was real.

Very slowly...he began to stir...and opened his eyes to look at Ahim. "Good morning, beautiful." he murmured.

She smiled, "I was afraid I'd wake up and you'd have just been a dream," she said softly.

She smiled and cuddled up against him, putting her arms around him. She enjoyed it when he did that.

He was content to lay there with her, smiling as well. Words weren't needed between them. Only the comfortable embrace of each other.

She nodded and got to her feet. She went to fix her hair and then realized she should change. She turned to Joe, "Um...could I please have a few moments to change?" she asked him.
