The 21st Century. How very backward it was for Courtney. Yet the Time Shadow had brought her and Oliver to this time for one reason or another. Maybe this was where the parademons had come from. Besides, it seemed nice here, so it wouldn't hurt to just check it out for a while. To that end, Courtney had sat down in a nice little park with her laptop out. Her laptop from the 33rd Century. Her laptop that she wasn't meant to be using this far back in time.

Takamina strolled through the park, a copy of the Nijiyome Gakuen Z-Cune Aoi manga in one hand. She had only just finished the anime, and (having succumbed to Aoi Fever) rushed to the nearest store in Akiba and bought every bit of merch she could, including the very manga she was currently reading. Of course, she didn't realize that she was walking straight toward Courtney, and was in danger of tripping if she didn't look up from the small volume.
