Ayumi was much fitter then Kaori, but even she found the run exhausting, as she managed to keep up with her friend's running as she laughed and hugged her from behind, "What do you have to be sorry for you big dummy?" she asked.

"Is it because you told me you loved me?" she asked as she nuzzled her face against Kaori's neck, "It's alright if it is, I don't mind that you love me Kaori, I can sense your overwhelming love for me. And you know what? I like it a lot, and I also love you right back," she said as she went and kissed Kaori's cheek, "I truly love you with all of my heart and soul."

"Hehe I thought you might say that," Ayumi said as she gave her new girlfriend a big hug, "I'll never leave you, I promise you that," she said as she gave a kiss on the cheek.

Kaori nearly dies of laughter - she loved to laugh at her own terrible jokes.

Ayumi laughed out loud as she nearly fell down, "That was really funny Kaori," she said still smiling as she patted Kaori's head, "alright then let's get you some real food," as she held Kaori's hand and led her down back to the festival before buying Kaori a bunch of food to feed both of them before she sat the two of them down on a bench as she ate the food.

Kaori tried not to act so much like a starving boar in front of Ayumi, but she was really, really hungry. She didn't eat breakfast this morning after her annoying little brother poured hot sauce into her pancake mix - revenge for Kaori stripping him naked while he slept to make him think aliens had probed him the night before. They always went back and forth like that. She took another savory bite.
"Soooo goooood! Thanks a lot Ayumi-chan!"

Ayumi closed her eyes as she looked up to the sky, "Indeed, this is one of many best days in my life, I've had a lot...from learning I was a Sailor Scout, to learning about my gifts, to starting school...but today...today outranks them all by a wide margin," as her hands crept up to Kaori's and she held it tightly, "and it's all thanks to you Kaori-chan."
