"Uh...I think it'll let it loose so that's not exactly a good idea," Ayumi said, "we need to weaken it far enough for me to seal it inside the house," she said as she fired a few fireballs at it.

"Okay, but the Crescent Beam and the Love-Me Chain are the only things i know how to do."
She uses her chain to grab hold of a chandler and drop it on the monster's head.
"Take that!"

"That's fine, the fireball and Mandala are the only things I know as well too," Ayumi said with a grin as she used her own version of the Mandala to create a ring of fire around the monster as it screeched seemingly with fear before it tried to lash out against the Scouts, as one of the tendrils hit Ayumi as she slammed into the wall.

She takes her eyes from the fight, just in time for her to get blasted in the right leg with a dark orb.
"Gaaaaah!!"

"Kaori-chan!" Ayumi called out as she crawled to where Kaori was as she held her hand, "Are you alright? Can you stand?" she asked.

Kaori was on her knees, her free hand pressing on her wound. The other hand was gripping Ayumi's.
"Maybe. I don't know. It hurts!"

Ayumi looked back as she saw that their only escape had been sealed off, "Damn it," she cursed as she pressed her forehead against Kaori's as she held her hand even tightly as tears flowed from her eyes, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Kaori-chan, it's all my fault," she whispered to her.

Kaori was in shock. Her new-found pillar of strength, Ayum-chan, was in tears. Usually she was the one crying her eyes out.
Kaori used her free hand to wipe away Ayumi's tears.
"It's not your fault, Ayumi-chan. It's mine. I'm the one who wanted to explore this place so badly."

Ayumi sniffled as she smiled at Kaori, "But I'm not the one strong enough to defend both of us, even after I promised to protect you," she said as she nuzzled that hand, "Kaori-chan...if we don't make it I want you to know, I love you very much, and I will never forget you," she whispered as she then leaned forward and kissed Kaori deeply.

Even though she faced certain demise, Kaori was in heavenly bliss. This was her first kiss and it surpassed all expectations! She didn't want to die! She didn't want Ayumi to perish either! She wished she was stronger! Strong enough to protect her!
Kaori feels a surge of energy from deep inside her. Her lips part from Ayumi's as she slowly stands back up.
"We will make it Ayumi-chan! Our love will make it happen!"

"Huh? What?" Ayumi asked in a confused tone, "How? I'm not strong enough to destroy the darkness, and you're hurt, we need some sort of powerful force capable of either weakening it enough so I can destroy it or destroy it completely," she said as she didn't let go of Kaori's hand as she got up as well standing next to her.

"Hurt? I don't know what you're talking about. I feel like i could take on an army of monsters!"
She moves forward, the monster watches in curiosity.
"Prepare yourself, you slimy bastard! My ultimate attack that flows through me with love's power! Venus Love and Beauty Shock!"
She holds out her hand and the symbol of Venus appears then disappears in a flood of golden sparkles. She then winks and kisses her hand, making a golden heart appear above her palm. She flings out her hand and the heart multiplies into many which spin in a circle around her for a moment before coalescing into one heart again, which then flies through the air and strikes the monster.

The monster roared as the power of Love hits him as he seemed to convulse from the holy energy, he attempted to attack Kaori but it failed him as they shatter into a thousand little pieces. Then he slowly began to crack before with a final roar the monster seemed to vanish into smoke leaving Ayumi and Kaori alone in the abandoned house as Ayumi panted and looked at Kaori, "W-what was that?" she asked.

Ayumi laughed as she went over to her girlfriend and hugged her before kissing her again, "Oh you..." as she sniffled and nuzzled her face into Kaori's shoulder, "Thank you," she said though it was muffled, "thank you so much...and I'm sorry I couldn't be stronger to protect both of us," she said.
