"Yep, she's a very cute girl, but an excellent shinobi as well...I've been watching her and her partner since the day we met," Yami said with a smile before whispering, "and I think she's got a little crush on me," she said with a giggle.

"I would not be so surprised." Hotaru said, she looked at Yami. "You are of a higher caliber, you must intimidate her to some extent because she respects you, but I can tell she finds comfort in your company. Like she feels safe with you." she elaborated, smiling a little.

"I'm surprised," Yami said raising her eyebrow, "you were able to profile that from a single meeting, though your observation of me is more obvious as we are talking now, but I did not think you would be able to figure out that she would find comfort in me," as she looked out to the sky. "And what about you Hotaru-chan? Do I intimidate you at this moment? Or comfort you?" she asked with a small smile.

Yami stood next to Hotaru before sitting close to the edge of the building before gesturing Hotaru to do the same, "Well that is something, most would be wary about me, but I find that kind of life too tiring...its good to trust a few people in life, even if you can't trust them 100%," she said.

She went and sat next to her.
"Yeah...lately...I've come to agree with that idea." she said, sitting with her knees up and placing her arms on her knees and clasping her hands together.

Yami smiled, "Well I'm someone agrees with that idea," she said as she moved a little closer to Hotaru, "but at the same time that is the sadness of our life...we can never trust anyone fully, sometimes I wonder if our life is a curse...or a blessing," she said.

"Its a bit of both..." Hotaru said, "...sometimes I wish that I was just a normal girl...but then I would be oblivious to all the things happening around me..." she told.

Yami laughed, "I think the same too sometimes, that way I can enjoy all the things I can't enjoy thanks to me being the Emperor's blade," as she looked sadly at the city, "perhaps even start my own family..." she whispered as a tear fell down her eye.

Hotaru glanced at Yami, noticing her tears then looked ahead.
"....We have to make the best with what we have..." she said, "...Life isn't fair, nor will it ever be...but we can make it bearable.." she told.

Yami sniffled and looked at Hotaru as she smiled and wiped her eyes, "Yeah...yeah we just have to do the best we can don't we Hotaru-chan?" she said with a smile, "That idol girl...she, me and her partner try to make it bearable for each other, we take comfort with each other, I hope you find someone that can do the same for you," she told the girl.
