Kai sets the soup down in front of her, with a utensil to eat with and some water to drink. "Enjoy my lady." he says softly, if she asked, he wouldn't repeat it again. Instead, he moved around the kitchen, doing other things for the moment.

She looked at it and ignored the heat of it, eating the soup graciously, happy to have something warming.

He remains silent, getting himself something to eat, and sitting down at the table, though not next to her. Kai eats quietly...content to sleep on the couch and offer her his bed. Since it was the least he could do.

Kai nods, getting up, and showing her to the bedroom, it was a nice comfortable bed that one could lose themselves in, and he takes one of the extra pillows. "Here you go. I'll be downstairs if you need me for anything." Though he didn't know if she wanted to be alone tonight...if she didn't, he could provide warmth without being a classless idiot. It was really her call.

He paused for a moment, thinking about what needed to be done...before sighing softly and turning away. "Well, I hope you rest comfortably." he gives, before walking downstairs. Something was up with him, and he wasn't sure what it was.

Sighing, he throws the pillow down on the couch, and lays down, not bothering to get out of any clothes. The Ring glowed in responce to its bearer's feelings, and yet he managed to get to sleep.

Koyomi didn't fall to sleep very easily. It took nearly an hour for her tiredness to take over, even if she felt it the entire time. It did finally overtake her, and she slept.

His dreams were peaceful, for once, even as his mind reluctantly slept....but he couldn't get her off of his mind.. He slept on the couch without any covers, as well.
